Design Build
Design build simply means to create a design and then transform that design into reality by building a custom home. Although many builders define themselves as “custom” home builders, Ridgestone Construction realizes that to actually be a custom builder, it is imperative to start with design. Most builders avoid the design phase because of the time involved, but at Ridgestone, design is one of our passions.
Through our experience and aptitude for structure and layout, we are able to start from a blank piece of paper or simply adjust a nearly completed plan to produce your dream home. Ridgestone’s focus on our clients’ visions of a custom home, not on what we think the home should be, sets our company apart from the crowd.
Site Selection
Choosing the site for your next home is critical. As site selection becomes more complicated every year, the Ridgestone staff’s years of experience in residential development and building can help you make the most informed decision possible when finding the ideal location in which to live.
When it comes to site selection, key factors include schools, homeowners’ associations, environmental issues, topography, setbacks, municipalities, septic systems and wells, property values, and highway expansions. Our professional experience can help you make an informed decision about an ideal home site. When you are ready to build your next house, we hope you will choose the experience and dedication of Ridgestone Construction.
Your Existing Home Site
Already have a home site and need a builder? Let Ridgestone work for you — it’s what we do best. Building on homeowners’ existing sites, one of our specialties, has been very gratifying for us over the years. Ridgestone offers any design build services needed or will build from your set of completed plans. We also offer cost-plus pricing, an alternative to contract pricing. Over the years, the cost-plus method has gained in popularity, and we have completed several successful projects in this way.
